I Believe in Individual Soul Liberty very strongly but I also believe that "no man is an island" and what we do, what we promote, and how we behave ourselves has an impact on others. Having said that...
First, using a medium like this I Believe that it is My Responsibility to be careful so as to not cause a weaker brother to stumble. (Romans 14:14-23) My commitment to you my reader is this: If anything I have posted causes you to doubt, stumble, or serves to weaken you in your faith I first apologize. Please contact me with your questions and I will do my best to help you if I can.
Secondly, I Believe it is My Responsibility to be Accountable to you my reader. God's Word says we are to be "Submitting ourselves one to another in the fear of God." (Ephesians 5:21) Spirit-Filled believers are to submit themselves to other Spirit-Filled believers. Whether you believe this is just in the context of the local church or whether you believe it has to do with the Greater Church which is Christ's Body makes no difference to me. My commitment to you reader is this, If you can give me clear biblical reason why anything I have posted should be removed or changed then I will bring it to the LORD in prayer and will most likely change it.
Also because I want to be true as a helper to the purpose of the pulpit ministry (Ephesians 4:12) "For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:"
And because "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
And because "by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in the 'multitude of counsellors' there is safety."
I willingly submit myself to the office of pastor and ask that if any being called of God to that high and honored responsibility; if any man of God see anything herein that would cause dishonor to our Lord Jesus Christ or His bride the Church please notify me promptly. I beg of you by God in all humility that you do this if anything I write causes you, in your spirit to doubt my motives, question my effectiveness, or otherwise have concern.
Notwithstanding, there may be possible doctrinal considerations, convictions I have that you may not share; I am a Bible believer to the core, I will take every communication from any denominational point of view seriously and will indeed take it to the LORD in prayer, I may modify or remove any post as He leads allowing that my conscience, guided by the Spirit, will be my final cause of any changes.
Finally, I Believe it is my (our) Responsibility to use every means possible to fulfill the Great Commission. To "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."
- To "preach the gospel to every creature." (Mark 16:15)
- To "Teach them to observe all things whatsoever Jesus has commanded." (Matt. 28:19-20)
- To help Others first to the Saviour through faith alone, then to find a Local Church where they can be Baptized in obedience to the Lord and where they can share in the responsibilities and fellowship of a Local Church.
